Sales order processing functionality includes online client ordering history, real-time integration with production scheduling and the ability to receive orders directly from handheld terminals. Purchase orders and sales orders can be created directly on SoftTrace or generated via integration with an ERP system.

Ingredient inventory depletions recorded in SoftTrace are used to track raw material usage to each product tank and on to the finished product batch numbers.

Packaging inventory depletions are recorded on a standard usage basis, based on daily production figures.

Finished goods depletions are updated based on the dispatch dockets generated by SoftTrace Inventory Management.

Product picking is automatically generated from sales orders. SoftTrace streamlines inventory control with full visibility on inventory that should be prioritised for dispatch. When picking is completed, SoftTrace Inventory Management automatically highlights the loading instructions for the attention of the Warehouse Manager. Loading sheet details are available in printed format or electronically via WIFI. Based on the pick-list details, SoftTrace LIMS generates the appropriate certificates of analysis and conformance. Once pick-lists are confirmed on the system, dispatch dockets are printed, inventory is updated and dispatch data is transferred from SoftTrace Inventory Management to your ERP / financial system. Full traceability on all dispatched products and their associated quality profile is retained within SoftTrace.
