We Do Dairy! Our customers are at the core of what we do, on a daily basis we strive to design and develop accurate, relevant and user-friendly software systems that reduce cost, risk and downgrade and increase efficiency, visibility and profit.

At SoftTrace we keep our finger on the pulse of what’s happening in the Dairy industry, and this prompted us to add to our skilled and experienced software team, we recognised the need to better understand the practical plant implications of our software design. We looked to the Dairy industry to improve our offering.

Understanding the practical day to day pain points in our customers milk manufacturing process, the standards, specifications and regulations that our customers must comply with, and the ever-evolving need for process optimisation, cost efficiencies and traceability have always been at the core of what we do, driving the SoftTrace Customer Care Commitment.

Dairy and regulation of the Dairy industry has evolved dramatically since we first started our business twenty years ago. To add to our existing skills, experience and understanding of our customers’ requirements, SoftTrace are proud to announce the creation of our Compliance, Quality & Regulatory Affairs Department. We have hired experienced people from the Dairy industry with established track records in Dairy Processing, Dairy Technology, Quality Assurance and cGMP QMS Documentation.

One of the first projects undertaken by SoftTrace CQRA was the design and development of our Grass Fed Supplier Management Software in response to the industry’s need to manage SDAS assured farmer suppliers at processor level to comply with the specifications of the Bord Bia SDAS standard. Our CQRA team used their knowledge of the industry and the requirements of the Bord Bia standard to assist our software design and development teams in producing a Grass Fed Supplier Management software system. Our software has been successfully implemented for several of our customers capturing critical supplier data to report on milk intake compliance.

To demonstrate our SoftTrace Customer Care Commitment as part of our continuous improvement journey we have commenced our journey towards ISO 9001:2015 accreditation. Our Software Operations teams of Software Design & Development, Software Testing & Customer Care are engaging in Continuous professional development training with modules on Milk Production, Milk Processing, Dairy Products, Dairy Chemistry and Dairy Microbiology training with the Society of Dairy Technology Academy to update their knowledge and understanding of the industry.
